Say “Travel” and club member Norma Johnson will say, “Where?” and “Let me take care of that for you!” At Altair Travel, she plans dream trips for her many clients.
Norma is the only Premier Aussie Specialist in Missouri. If you’re thinking Down Under, think of Norma. She's traveled all over Australia - not just to its vibrant cities, spectacular Great Barrier Reef and vast Outback, but also to some unique and unusual places. She knows the tour operators, hotels, air lines and tourist boards. And, they know her. Norma can arrange luxurious escorted tours, rugged independent travel, or something on between for her clients.
Ask any of her clients why they had such a great time in Australia and they will tell you the same thing: "It's a great country, with friendly people. We saw the best of it because Norma put together an amazing itinerary designed around us, our interests, budget and lifestyle."
Altair is the official St. Louis Cardinals cruise agency. The next cruise will be January 28-February 4, 2007, on the MS Amsterdam. Or would a Sandals or a Beaches resort be more to your liking? Puna Cana is a new destination. Altair has a promotion with the Albert Pujols Foundation. Call Norma for these or other dream destinations. You can reach her at 314-968-9600, ext. 260, or send her an email to plan your next unforgettable vacation.
Norma and husband Bill have two sons. Paul is the directors of workers compensation for United Van Lines in Fenton. Wayne lives in Dallas with wife Ginnie and their three daughters. He works in commercial real estate. Norma and Bill are active members of Ladue Chapel.
Norma is a charter member of the Des Peres Rotary Club. She served as the club’s third president from July 1993 to June 1994. While not with Des Peres Rotary the entire time, she has been a tireless supporter of Rotary. She served as an assistant governor for District 6060 from July 2002 to June 2005 and is serving again for the Rotary year 2006-07. She rejoined the club in July 2005. By the way, Norma has perfect attendance since joining Rotary in 1990. She’s challenging club members to ramp up their attendance!
